Our Kanna Sourcing

We collaborate with a diverse range of suppliers, including large-scale agricultural producers and small-scale farmers specializing in traditionally fermented Kanna.

Our commitment extends to preserving Sceletium tortuosum's diversity and ensuring its ethical sourcing. We source our materials from well-managed farms and, in certain instances, from sustainable, wild-harvested areas on private properties. All our Sceletium plants are organically cultivated without any synthetic chemicals.

Our main supplier has established formal agreements for benefit sharing with the San and Khoikhoi communities, the original holders of Sceletium knowledge, particularly with the !Kai Korana Community and the South African San Council. Additionally, our products are licensed from the Western Province Department of Cape Nature, authorizing trade and export of Sceletium globally.
