What goes into the mix. Each of the five brings a different lead:

• MZQ: mesembrine-dominant at 5.5%, the bright and sociable end
• MT5: mesembrine-dominant at approximately 5%, the steady middle
• V3: raised mesembrenone, warm and body-focused
• XK6: raised delta-7-mesembrenone, clean and focused
• IX: the lighter 2.5% total alkaloid extract

Why blend them. Every standardized extract is a narrowing. Pushing one alkaloid to the front gives you a clear, predictable character and leaves the rest in support. Putting all five together goes the other way and hands you the widest spread we can assemble, which is why it reads rounded and even rather than sharp at either end. It is the closest thing in the powder range to the whole plant.

Use methods.

• Sublingual: under the tongue until it dissolves, then swallow. Fastest and cleanest.
• In a drink: stir into a warm beverage for a slower, smoother arrival.
• Capsule: slowest onset, easiest to carry.

Regular use. Start at 5 mg with the included spoon and work up inside the 5 to 15 mg range. Wait for a serving to peak and fade before considering more. Tolerance builds with daily use, so days off serve you better than a larger spoon.

Interactions and cautions.

• Do not combine with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs or other serotonergic medications, including triptans, tramadol and St. John's Wort, because of the risk of serotonin syndrome
• Do not use with alcohol
• Not for use during pregnancy or nursing, or by anyone with a heart condition
• For adults 21 and over; keep out of reach of children

Storage. Sealed, cool, dry and dark, with the desiccant kept in the jar. Extract powder draws moisture and clumped powder is harder to scoop accurately.

Common questions

• Is the MIX stronger than the individual extracts? No. It is broader, not stronger. The serving range is the same 5 to 15 mg.
• How is this different from the sampler? The sampler gives you four separate jars to compare. The MIX blends them together in one.
• Is the ratio the same in every batch? It is built from all five powders, with the balance moving a little with what we have on hand.
• Who is it for? People who like all of the profiles and do not want to choose, and people who find single-alkaloid extracts too pointed.
