Catalog guide: what we carry and where to start
This is the whole Healing Herbals catalog in one place, 298 listings across every plant and format we carry: kanna, kava, blue lotus, amanita, wild dagga, functional mushrooms, adaptogens and organic tea herbs, as extract powders, resins, tinctures, sprays, capsules, gummies, teas, pre-rolls, aromatherapy diffusers, drinks, seeds and live plants. Everything is made or packed in small batches, our standardized extracts are lab tested, kanna is sourced through South African San Council benefit-sharing partnerships, kava comes from independent Pacific farmers and wild dagga is grown organically on our own South African farm. The blue lotus and amanita ranges each have their own page. Most kanna newcomers begin with BLOOM MT5 5% extract, and our guide to the top botanicals of 2026 is a good orientation.

The plants. Our catalog is anchored by a handful of traditional botanicals:
- Kanna, Sceletium tortuosum, the Karoo succulent with mesembrine and mesembrenone
- Kava, Piper methysticum, the Pacific root with six kavalactones
- Blue lotus, Nymphaea caerulea, the Egyptian water lily with nuciferine and aporphine
- Amanita muscaria, the fly agaric with muscimol
- Wild dagga, Leonotis leonurus, with leonurine
Around them sit lion's mane, reishi, cordyceps and chaga, adaptogen roots such as ashwagandha and rhodiola, and a long shelf of classic tea herbs.
How to choose. New customers usually start with one flagship per plant:
- For kanna that is the RAVE kanna nasal spray for speed or MZQ 5.5% extract powder for control
- For kava it is Vanuatu Kava medium grind
- For lotus, whole Blue Lotus Flower
- For amanita, A-Grade Amanita Muscaria caps
- From our farm, Wild Dagga
- On the daily shelf, Lions Mane Extract Powder and Ashwagandha KSM 66 capsules
From there, the category collections sort every plant by format.
Dosing overview. With this many plants there is no shared serving; each product page states its own and that is the number to follow. As general habits: weigh extract powders on a milligram scale, take kava away from meals, give amanita two to three hours, steep teas at one to two teaspoons per 8 oz, and take mushroom and adaptogen products as a daily routine. Learn one product at a time before combining anything.
What to expect. Users describe kanna as lifted and present, kava as relaxed with a numb mouth, blue lotus as dreamy, amanita as heavy and slow, dagga as mellow, and the mushrooms, adaptogens and tea herbs as quiet companions judged over weeks rather than minutes. Formats change the timing more than the character: sprays and diffusers in minutes, tinctures in half an hour, powders and capsules in an hour, gummies a little later.
Side effects and cautions. Across the catalog the common signal of too much is nausea, headache or drowsiness, and the answer is always to reduce.
- Kanna must never be combined with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, triptans, tramadol or St. John's Wort
- Kava must not be mixed with alcohol or sedative medications and needs professional advice with any liver condition
- Amanita must never be combined with alcohol, sedatives or medications or eaten unprepared
- Reishi and cordyceps call for advice with blood-thinning medication
- The ethnobotanicals are not for use if pregnant or nursing and are for adults 21 and over; with teas and foods, consult a professional if pregnant, nursing or on medication
