Valerian Root Resin Extract

Our Valerian root resin is a concentrated extract of Valeriana officinalis. The resinous form carries a much higher concentration of valerenic acids and essential oils than standard dried root — the signature compounds this plant is known for. Valerian has been part of European herbal tradition since antiquity and is most often prepared in the evening. A small amount goes a long way; start low and adjust to preference.
