Which instant kava should you pick?

• Heady Variety (Day Time): clear headed and social. Good for daytime, work, or hanging out.

How to make instant kava

Start with 1 to 2 grams (about half a teaspoon to a teaspoon) in 4 to 6 oz of cold water or juice. Shake or stir and drink it down. Wait 20 to 30 minutes before a second shell. Never use hot water, it wrecks the kavalactones. If you're new to kava, start low and eat light beforehand. Instant is easier on the stomach than micronized because the root fiber is already gone.

Instant kava vs micronized vs traditional

Traditional medium grind has to be kneaded in water through a strainer bag. Micronized is root ground so fine you can drink it, but you're still swallowing fiber, which is where the nausea comes from. True instant is brewed kava dehydrated into powder, so a gram of instant goes further than a gram of micronized, and it costs more per bag because it takes roughly 3 grams of root to make 1 gram of instant.
