Mad Honey
Mad honey comes from bees that forage on wild rhododendron blossoms high in the mountains. That nectar gives the honey its reddish tint and its famously sharp, throat-tingling finish, and it has been traded across Nepal and the Black Sea region for centuries. This is a rare specialty honey, not the jar from your grocery aisle.

Why is it called mad honey? The name comes from the rhododendron nectar the bees collect, which gives this honey its signature kick and its old-world reputation.
