Kanna, Kava, Blue Lotus & Amanita Lab Results | Certificates of Analysis
Healing Herbals (Holistic Plant Remedies LLC) grows and extracts kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) on our own farm in South Africa and tests finished products with independent labs: Phytodex, G2 Analytical, ACS Laboratory, Cora Science, Murray-Brown Laboratories and Ecogreen Analytics. Every report below lists its batch, lot or report number so you can match it to the product you have.
Need a COA that is not listed here, or a report for a specific batch? Email info@healingherbals.store and we will send it over. Wholesale buyers can request full PDF reports the same way.
How we test
Kanna extracts and leaf are tested for potency by HPLC-DAD, which reports mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembranol and delta-7 mesembrenone separately and as a total. Kava is tested for total kavalactones, and blue lotus, amanita and wild dagga run on screening panels such as pesticides, cannabinoids, muscimol content, heavy metals or GC-MS depending on the product. Each result is tied to a batch, lot or report number printed on the certificate. Phytodex reports carry a public share link, so you can open the record on the lab's own site and compare it to the card here.
Browse the products behind these reports: kanna extracts, kanna loose leaf, kava, blue lotus, amanita muscaria. Wholesale buyers can request full PDFs through the wholesale portal.
What does a botanical lab report verify?
A COA describes the sample and tests named on that report. Use the product name, lot or sample identifier, laboratory and date together. A report number identifies a document; it does not, on its own, establish that a different lot was tested.
- Kanna potency: an alkaloid assay measures the compounds listed by the laboratory. Check individual results, the reported total, units and method.
- Contaminants: pesticide, heavy-metal, microbial and cannabinoid screens are separate panels. Only the panel shown on a report is documented by that report.
- Botanical identity: a pesticide or cannabinoid screen does not establish a flower's species, cultivar or growing origin. Identity evidence must state the identification method and material examined.
- Current stock: archived or supplier reports provide context. Ask for the report matching the material you will receive.
For help comparing extracts, read how to read a kanna COA. For flower identity questions, read our blue lotus authenticity guide. Businesses can request documents through wholesale or discuss a private label project.

The flower report below is a pesticide screen and the vape report is a cannabinoid screen. These reports document their named samples and panels; they do not independently establish species, cultivar, growing origin or testing of a different lot. Request the report for your product and batch before applying these results to it.

Lab results FAQ
What is a COA?
A certificate of analysis is a report issued by a laboratory that states what was measured in a specific sample, the method used, and the result. For botanicals this usually covers potency (the active alkaloids or kavalactones) and may add contaminant panels such as heavy metals, pesticides or microbials.
How do I read total alkaloids on a kanna report?
Total alkaloids is the sum of the individual alkaloids the lab quantified, usually mesembrine, mesembrenone, mesembranol and delta-7 mesembrenone. It is shown as a percent by weight and often also as mg per gram. A 1% result means 10 mg of total alkaloids per gram of material.
How do I match a report to the product I bought?
Find the batch, lot or report number on your product label or packing slip and compare it to the number on the card above. Where a product has one standing report (for example a supplier COA), the card says so. If your batch is not listed, email us the number and we will send the matching report.
Why do results differ between labs or batches?
Plant material varies by harvest, drying and extraction run, so two batches of the same product can test differently. Labs also use different methods, reference standards and reporting limits, which shifts numbers slightly. That is why each card names the lab and the method rather than quoting one fixed figure.
How do I request a PDF?
Email info@healingherbals.store with the product name and batch or report number. We send the original lab PDF, and wholesale accounts can request the full set for their order.
