Clear Glass Jars with Black Lids (2 oz, Small Herb and Extract Jars)

Clear Glass Jars with Black Lids are the same small screw-top jars we pack extracts and loose herb in. Clear glass, a black lid with an inner liner that seals, and the right size for a bag of extract you want to keep dry, a few weeks of loose leaf, or a bulk order split into single servings.

At a glance

• 2 oz clear glass, wide mouth
• Black screw lid with inner liner
• Seals tight enough for powders and cut herb
• Rinse and reuse
• 6 or 12 jars

What it is. A squat, wide-mouth glass jar, the style used for lotion and balm samples. The wide opening means a scoop or spoon goes straight in, and the liner in the lid keeps air and moisture out once it is screwed down. Glass does not hold odor or stain the way plastic does.

How to use it. Wash in hot water and dry fully before the first use. Fill, drop in a 1 gram silica desiccant packet if the contents are a powder, and screw the lid down firm. One of our 1 in round holographic labels fits the lid; a 2 in round fits the front. Store in a drawer or cabinet, out of light and away from the stove.

Goes with. A double-sided micro scoop in the jar for extract powders, a digital pocket scale on the bench for weighing, and resealable kraft bags for anything too bulky for a jar. See all of it in Accessories and DIY Supplies.
