Propylene Glycol USP (Food Grade)

Propylene Glycol USP is the thin, clear, food-grade carrier liquid that gets blended with vegetable glycerin in aromatherapy and diffuser liquids. On its own it is much thinner than glycerin, so it carries flavor and essence well and keeps a blend from being too thick to wick. Same grade we use in our own refill liquids.

Typical blend. Most diffuser liquids sit somewhere between 50/50 and 70/30 glycerin to propylene glycol. More glycerin means thicker liquid and denser vapor, more PG means thinner liquid and stronger flavor carry. Start at 50/50 and adjust.

• Is this food grade? Yes, USP food grade, not the industrial or antifreeze grade.
• How should I store it? Capped, room temperature, out of sun. It does not go bad in any practical time frame.
