Isopropyl Alcohol 99% is the cleaning alcohol we keep at the fill bench. It cuts sticky resin off jars, scoops, grinders and 510 threads in seconds and flashes off clean with no residue, which 70% rubbing alcohol from the drugstore does not do. Sold in small bottles because most people only need a few ounces a month.

How we use it. A capful on a cotton pad for battery threads and cart mouthpieces. A soak in a jar for a gummed-up grinder, then a rinse. A wipe on the scale pan between extracts so the last powder does not throw the next reading. Let everything dry fully before it touches herb again.

Not for. Do not drink it, do not use it in a tincture, and do not use it on anything that goes in your mouth without a full rinse and dry. Keep it away from heat and flame.

• Why 99 and not 70? 70% is mostly water, it leaves resin smeared and takes minutes to dry. 99% dissolves it and is gone in seconds.
• Why ground shipping only? It is a flammable liquid. Carriers only take it by ground in small consumer quantities.
